Scholars and Theologians call chapters 30-33 the Book of Consolation or Comfort. Jeremiah’s tone shifts from the judgment of the Lord to Hope in God’s plans for the future. This does not negate His words of judgment but shows God’s power to bring life from death. Again we see the faithfulness of God to His own words in Deuteronomy.
