Bill and Teresa Landers - Caribbean Ministries Association

Bill and Teresa both grew up in the suburbs of Atlanta, GA. They met during their first semester of college, married the summer after graduation, and have been laughing and loving life with each other since. They have been in full time Christian ministry for 30 years now, with Bill serving as the Senior Pastor of three churches. Teresa has been a 5th grade math and science teacher for the past 17 years. They have two incredible sons and an awesome daughter-in-law. They also have a dog named Hoopty. Bill picked the name.

A very active couple, Teresa played basketball in college and plays tennis with the USTA, while Bill is a runner, having completed 28 marathons. They have enjoyed traveling around the Caribbean getting to know the people in the various island cultures. They also enjoy kayaking and snorkeling when they have the opportunity. They both have a love for the homeless community in their adopted hometown of New Orleans, LA where they go a couple of times each year to serve in various homeless ministries.

A little over a year ago, God began speaking to them about the possibilities of moving to the mission field. At the end of this year, Bill and Teresa will begin to transition from the pastorate in Lindale, GA to the island of Eleuthera, a largely undeveloped island in the Bahamas, to serve as international missionaries with the Caribbean Ministries Association. They will be training local pastors and church leaders, as well as disciple making and sharing the Gospel.
