Valley of Blessing Ministries
History of Valley of Blessing Ministry
Valley of Blessing Ministry was birthed in the hills and slopes of the Sierra Madre in Sinaloa, Mexico. It’s primary objective is to fullfill Ephesians 6: 4, “bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.” The Sierra mountain villages have been spiritually neglected due to their remote locations. Mexico has become a “Narco State” with a death toll of 164,000+, more than Afgahanistan and Iraq wars combined, plus 61,000 disappeared since its “Drug War '' began in 2006. Sinaloa is its drug capital, home of its most powerful cartel, and the Sierra is its “Central Control” as its key drug production region. Due to poverty in these remote villages children have virtually little to no opportunities. Thus the cartel seeks to recruit these children, some as young as 10 years old as farm workers in their drug fields and as “Sicarios.”
Our Vision and Mission
Valley of Blessing Minitry seeks to glorify GOD by supporting existing local churches and helping plant new ones. Manrique Sanchez serves as a minister who preaches and teaches the Word and his wife Carla serves as a teacher for the Youth and Children’s ministry. They seek to spread the love of Christ to families in poverty by sharing the gospel message and providing for some basic necessities. Our primary focus is to minister to the needs of impoverished children by providing them with a safe environment away from the negative influence of organized crime. A safe and secure place that’s conducive to the learning of God’s Word and where they can experience the love of Christ. They can earn a bible studies certificate and receive children’s bibles. We provide them with school supplies, uniforms, and clothing. In addition, we conduct events where we provide them with a fellowship meal where they participate in fun and games, pintaña and candy ect..
Current Status
We began with a half dozen children and have increased to over 50 children. By God’s grace, we have managed to establish other childrens groups at our neighboring/surrounding villages where we helped plant new churches and exisiting small ones to grow.

Compassion & Hope Pregnancy Center was the aspiration of two women in the Pocatello Community. These women were desiring to volunteer at a crisis pregnancy center where they could help make a difference in women's lives.
All that time, in our area and the surrounding area, there were no facilities available. They decided to look into starting a crisis pregnancy center on their own. After much research they chose to affiliate with Care Net, an organization responsible for starting over 1200 pregnancy centers in the U.S. On November 14, 2011, Compassion & Hope Pregnancy Center became a reality.
We are a 501 c(3) and are not affiliated with any government agency. We depend solely on the community and individuals for support. All of our services are free and confidential. We want to serve the women and men in our community who are faced with an unplanned pregnancy and provide them with positive alternatives.
