Summary: After nearly being thrown off a cliff by the people of his hometown, Jesus goes down to Capernaum, where the people are amazed at his authority and power. He begins to set free the oppressed and release the captives. By the words of Jesus, demons are cast out, and the sick are healed, causing people to keep him in Capernaum, but Jesus says he must go evangelize other towns because this is why he was sent. What can these miraculous signs and wonders have to do with us today?
