Scripture: Luke 5:27-39
Summary: One day, Jesus invites a tax collector to follow him as a disciple, and he does. To mark this change in his life, the tax collector throws a party in his home with Jesus as the guest of honor, but the Pharisees begin to question Jesus’ ministry, wondering how he can associate with “THOSE” kind of people. Jesus’ response: this is why I came. The Pharisees misunderstood what God was all about. Sometimes, I wonder if we have done the same thing.
Join us Sunday as we behold Jesus and his interactions with people so we can become like Jesus and do what He did.
