Summary: We come to the end of Jesus’ sermon on the plain, his kingdom manifesto. Here, he lays out his final warning or challenge. The title “Lord” means something. Only call me Lord if you mean it, and if you do, make sure you live by the values of the kingdom of God. Living by anything else will lead to destruction. The choice is binary: build your life on Jesus or build on something else. Which will you choose?
