Summary: Jesus tells the crowd a story about a farmer sowing his seed and all the types of ground it falls on—some good, but most bad. His disciples were a bit confused, so he explained to them what he meant. There are many obstacles to hearing, receiving, and living out the good news of the kingdom, so be careful what you do with the word of God given to you.
