Scripture: Luke 7:36-50

Summary: Jesus continues his kingdom tour through the Galilean region, this time having dinner at a Pharisee’s house. While they are eating, a woman who was a “sinner” comes in and anoints Jesus' feet with perfume and her tears. Can you say awkward? This scene causes the Pharisee to judge Jesus in his heart. Then, Jesus then says to him; I’ve something to tell you. Out comes a story of forgiveness and gratitude and the declaration that the woman has been forgiven of her sins. This causes an even bigger scene in the Pharisee’s heart and home.
