Scripture: Luke 11:37-54
Summary: Given what we know about Jesus and the Pharisees, it seems like a bad idea for one of them to invite him to dinner. While at dinner, Jesus confronts the Pharisees for their focus on religious rituals while neglecting justice and love for God, calling them fools and telling them they are responsible for blocking people from knowing God. Yikes! This is the backdrop for our time together on Sunday.
